THE STORY

AJW Comfort Cakes are alcohol infused cakes that enhance the flavor and the fun! The recipe for my signature comfort cake was handed down to me from my mother.  She loved baking, and this was her most requested cake.  She found the basic recipe in a magazine and added and changed so many parts that the cake now doesn’t much resemble the original recipe.  My mother passed away in 2013 and I miss her every day. I decided that I would preserve her memory by baking her cake.  Her name was Anita Joanne Ward, and her initials emblazon the name of the company that I created in her honor.
